Description
How about adding a readme.txt into BP-Default? It would be to provide some additional support, and theme development information, to theme designers who may be more used to looking for documentation in the theme, rather than in a plugin.
There is also a slight benefit in that it removes a recommendation from the Theme Check plugin (to supply a readme.txt), but this won't clear the recommendation for child themes (those need their own readme.txt)

I have attached a draft for the type of thing I have in mind. As BP-Default is only distributed inside BuddyPress (not on wordpress.org/extend/themes), I figured there's not much point providing version compatibility requirements etc as it would just give another place to be updated before each release
