BP Avatars do not display on MU blogs and comments

Description

BP avatars fail to display on MU blogs and comment sections. This is the case on BP 1.2.8/WP 3.1.

A traditional plugin check has been done to check for plugin conflicts. It does not appear to be plugin related.

Works for me. I cannot recreate the issue. Can you provide step-by-step instructions and information on if your site is running a sub-dir or a sub-domain setup of multisite. A sample of a broken URL would be helpful, too. Have you set the BP_ENABLE_MULTIBLOG or BP_ROOT_BLOG settings manually?
