Group Admin management features needed

Description
There doesn't seem to be any way to promote a user as a Group Admin. We can promote users to mods but not admins. No way to change admins for a group. I can leave the group as admin which leaves the group without an admin and no way to designate someone as new admin.
Need group admin management by site admin or mechanism to designate co-admins. The only admin for a group should not be allowed to just leave.
This make any sense?
