Pending friendship requests not showing up

Description
In profile > friends > requests the friendship requests are not displayed. Hmm. I disabled the activity component to use donncha's site wide tags. Are pending requests dependent on activity being enabled?

Nevermind. Friendship requests in profile are those pending requests made by other users *to* me that I haven't done anything with yet. Not my friendship requests that *I have made* and haven't been accepted/rejected yet.
It helps to look in the code. I've never even been in there before now. My user was confused and so was I.
