codex search ( mod_rewrite ? )

When you search your codex it submits an url like so:
​http://codex.buddypress.org/?s=BP_DISABLE_ADMIN_BAR
I get a blank page, no response. If I type in:
​http://codex.buddypress.org/search/BP_DISABLE_ADMIN_BAR
I'm taken to the page I want.

I had this problem when I upgraded to wordpress 3 from 2, and was able to resolve it by removing and replacing the wordpress mod_rewrite redirects in my .htaccess...
