Buddypress Issues - Please help!

Hi, I have tried posting this question on several sites but with no responses. If someone could help me out it would be much appreciated.

1. We are having a problem with our install: When replying to messages, the loader icon appears and disappears, but the message never gets sent.

Possibly related bugs are:

2. cannot join groups from the single group list (joining works fine from list of groups page)
3. cannot update activity from profile page (works fine from activity page)

troubleshooting:

1. disabled all plugins (except buddypress, of course!) problem persists
2. changed theme to Buddypress default – problem persists

Not sure what to try next.

These all sound like Javascript problems, and it's likely that they're all related to your setup (either conflicts in plugins or themes, which are unlikely since you said you're using no plugins and bp-default, or something with your browser setup).
