Description

I have a problem uploading avatars on buddyprees. The upload seems to work fine. But images does not appear.
I'm using wordpress 3.0.1 and buddypress 1.2.5.2
My website is that one: www.avesso.com.br/social

  • Milestone changed from 1.3 to 1.2.5

I can confirm that.
Also here the same, that the upload seems fine but no image appear.
When I have a look onto the server at the shown path (right klick on the picture and let open it into a new browser tab), the path don't exist.

A locate filename.jpg shown me that the right path was: /wp-content/blogs.dir/1/files/avatars/1/
And the shown frontend path was /files/avatars/1/

So it would be nice if someone can tell how to fix the bug.

Greetings
Hans

Did this work on WordPress 3.0?

Is this an upgraded installation from WordPress 2.9?

Do normal WordPress attachments work?

Does this happen on BuddyPress 1.2.5?

I just tried this on WP 3.01, Default-Theme, 1.2.5.2 I just uploaded a new avatar to my test user (subscriber level) and it is working fine. I.E. the avatar uploaded correctly, can be seen, and the path appears correctly.

Here is one of the paths to the recent test:
http://musicpln.org/wp-content/uploads/avatars/16/a23876fa53b44642fb25 Which it where I understand it should be going to....

Going to close this; can't duplicate with branch and appears to be working fine. Reopen if needed.
