Rank Buddypress.org #1 or first page in Google for "Social Networking Software" and such with small footer link change

I have a very good & important suggestion -- change the Buddypress footer links to have the link anchor text to "Social Networking Software" (in a non-tacky looking way) so that Buddypress shows up on the first page in Google for that search term instead of as like result #50 as it currently does.

People searching for those terms would then likely become buddypress users. Google shows 74,000 global searches per month for "Social Networking Software" currently....about 18,000 more for "social network software".

Sounds a bit black-hat SEO to me. I don't think we should do this.

Not really black-hat. However to force the adding of the link without user permission being gotten first is against the WordPress.org plugin repo terms of service.
