Description

Forgive me if I've already posted this as a trac ticket. I can't seem to remember or find any record of it...

I'm running WP 3.0 and BP 1.2.4 on a child theme of the BP default theme.

If I place the “Recent Site Wide Post” widget in the sidebar and then scroll to the bottom of the home page and click “Load More” the page loads not only more content into the main section but also into the sidebar of the “Recent Site Wide Posts” widget.

However, the content loaded into sidebar is any activity, not just blog posts.

It appears that some type of "blog-posts-only" filter for the “Recent Site Wide Posts” widget forgot to load. Anyone else have this problem?

First off, absolutely love the video and that's probably the best possible way to show how a bug occurs.

Second off, I love Jing for this kind of thing; works perfectly.

Third off, definitely a bug, and one that might be harder to fix than it sounds.

The problem stems from there being multiple activity streams on the screen at the same time. I'll make some adjustments to the widget and when I think it's fixed will let you know here. I've ran into this as a problem about a year ago when Andy and I were first experimenting with using activity widgets for BuddyPress 1.1, and facepalmed when the ajax wouldn't discriminate between the feeds.

I have an idea for a solution but it could use some testing. Are you down when it's ready?

Glad you liked the clip. When I 1st discovered Jing a couple months ago I was like, "Yes! This was made for bug-showing!"

I'd love to try testing it for you. I may be on a trip for 10 days or so and I don't know what my internet connection will be like, but I think I may be able to get some other guys on our project to try it out and then share the results.
