Description

Currently (BP1.2 final), a user is only able to add tags to a Forum topic at the time the topic is created -- there is no way for that user or the admin to add/delete tags when editing the topic. This would be helpful.

The way you display and interact with tags in the Buddypress forum is much better. A user can add tags to a topic and then edit or delete them any time after that. You also have the ability on the Buddypress forum for any user to add and delete tags from other people's post -- not sure if I'd go that far, but it would be nice if the topic creator and the site admin had that ability.

Forgot about this ticket when I just created a new one last night that is mostly the same but also mentions the ability for more display control over tags: ​http://trac.buddypress.org/ticket/2144
