Are you using a child theme? If you are, can you try this on the default please.

I'm not sure. I'm using the bp-default theme which is placed in my wp-content/themes/ folder as recommended from the readme file after install.

The bp-default theme should be in /wp-content/plugins/buddypress/bp-themes/

Get the latest bp-default theme from RC3 and be sure to include it in the above directory and remove the wp-content/themes/bp-default theme.

Be sure to activate the new bp-default before loading the site.

Removed wp-content/themes/bp-default
Activated /wp-content/plugins/buddypress/bp-themes/bp-default before going to front end of site.
Replicated issue, same problem occurred.

Issue resolved. Overwriting files doesn't fix this.Buddypress folder must be removed completely then reinstalled.

Deactivated Buddypress plugin, deleted Buddypress folder from server. Uploaded fresh 1.2rc3 Buddypress, reactivated plugin. Issue doesn't reoccur.
