Posted updates in a group but the last_activity for that group is not updating

I think this is the same issue that you are mentioning. in WPMU 2.9.1.1 with the latest BuddyPress RC2 the group activity is not correct. The only thing visible is the activity of the logged in user. Other users's posts to activity or anything are not showing up. I'm guessing this is the same as yours.
