Groups Notification Caching issue

Description

I reviewed all the old tickets none of which were applicable. The group notifications are not going away. They are just staying in the top bar. I am running WPMU 2.9.1 and BP 1.2rc

updated to rc2 and still the situation remains the same. Ive gone through all the php files in groups and couldnt find a thing (my php knowledge is pretty limited)

Need to know the specific notification, what is it for?

it is for a group invitation. Once you accept the group the message is cleared from your inbox, but not cleared from your admin-bar.

  • Status changed from new to closed

It cleared for me just fine when I visited the group invites page under my profile area.
