author name not showing in post

Description
When submitting a post, the author name is not displaying the nickname or the display name. Under wordpress admin edit posts listing, it does show bptestuser as the author but on the frontpage, it shows as admin.
wordpress setting:
username = admin, Nickname (required) = bptestuser, Display name publicly as = bptestuser

Frontend only uses xprofile "Name" field if you have that installed. Update that via your profile edit form.
