Instant "status message" update in Profile

Description

When you post a new status update from within your profile, is there any way your "Status message" could change instantly too using a nice AJAX effect?

Probably too late to include in 1.2 through.

I'm not sure this is valid anymore. There isn't really any "status message" anymore, at least not in the default theme. The activity stream itself is all pretty and AJAXified.
