I put this elsewhere and it was closed as 'not related' with no answer given :(

I uploaded 2572 because of double posts on 2.1 to status issue. No go, it is still happening.
It is ok in groups posts etc, or blog posts, but using the status area to post an update makes a double post
We have no wires or activity on pages.
I put this in here as if I ever ask on the forums I am told to add bugs to here. If I add tickets here I am told that my request for an answer is invalid.

I completely lost everything as I deleted all and uploaded new instead of upgrading. Upgrading caused so many errors these just among them.
I now only have two minor errors with a completely new install but they are basically hopefully easily fixed.
