"No Valid Header" Error Msg in WPMU/Buddypress 1.2 FTP/.zip install

11:24PM 01/25/2010 - BUG? FTP install of Buddypress 1.2 Beta on MPMU 2.9.1. After .zip unpack & success install, on Action = "Activate Plugin" then Error message reads "The plugin does not have a valid header." On return to "Manage Plugin" - no BuddyPress Plugin avail. Newby to WPMU & Buddypress, but have installed many WP. Maybe I am missing something. Am checking FTP backup for missing files. ANy help??

Please either set the correct permissions on the files, or redownload and upload the zip file.

"Upload the unzipped files" I should say.
