If you go to domain.tld/wp-register.php at WPMU + BP you are redirected to ​http://domain.tld/wp-signup.php with the buddypress register page.

I you do the same at WP Simple, you are redirected to domain.tld/wp-login.php?action=register

I think j.conti is indicating that on a WPSingle install, when you go directly to domain.tld/wp-register.php, you get redirected to the standard WP registration page, not the BuddyPress one.

However, if you click on the "Sign Up" link or on the "create an account" link, it takes you to the BuddyPress registration page.

This is all confirmed in 2.9.1 single with 2294
