Description

Many users don't know the basics of html, but they seem to be able to copy/paste forum posts such as URL or IMG. Ability to support these natively?

Here's an example of basic snippet from photobucket:

I think you mean bbcode!
As I said on testbp.org, this is plugin territory.

Would be cool if bbcode made the core though.

We can aim for this sort of thing by implementing features like WordPress 2.9's easier video embeds into the activity stream.
