SingleWP: No Buddypress options in backend

Reported by: jivany's profile jivany Owned by:
Milestone: 1.2 Priority: critical
Severity: Version:
Component: Keywords: SingleWP, admin

Description

Just activated 2274 on a fresh 2.9.1 WP single install.

While it appears that Buddypress is running OK, there is no menu in the admin backend area to allow me to change the general/component settings or to activate the forums.

Buddypress is the only active plugin and the bp-default theme is active.

Please would you make a post on the forums so we can debug this in detail? I've installed BP on a fresh WP single install just yesterday or the day before on rev 2267 and that worked fine

im having the same problem.
the weird thing is, i have 2 domains, both run wp 2.9.1
on 1 i CAN see the BuddyPress options, on the next i can't

it think it has to do something with the server settings...
is it possible to code those so that they can be used on both server types?

since im on shared hosting i can't exactly, but i can show you this:
http://lsddesign.nl/phpinfo.php
http://zipyourmix.com/phpinfo.php

lsddesign shows the bp options, zipyourmix doesnt...

hope this helps ;)
