Description
A sugestion.
At the front page of 1.2 & new default theme you can see this text above the writing box:
"What's new -name- ?"
I'd like to change that from the options panel for the theme. Like in P2.

- Milestone changed from 1.2 to 1.2.1
Make a child theme if you want to change the text. Bumping the text rename (ousep's comment) to 1.2.1.

There's also a filter for the what's new name as well - bp_dtheme_firstname, though it's currently broken in trunk.
I've filed a report for this (#1866) here.

- Component set to Core
DJPaul is right that you should make a child theme or a language pack if you want to change the text.
Agreed about the comma. I'll add it in a second.
r-a-y - the filter has moved into bp-core-templatetags.php and is called bp_get_user_firstname(). The filter seems to work fine.
And while we're at it...
It should be What's new(comma) -NAME-?
