Description
the option to "create a new Blog" for the user should not be included within the Sign-up-process.
It would be better to include this within the Tab named "Blogs".
there you put a button for "Create a Blog".
Same as you have within the Groups-Tab the button which says "Create a Group".

This is more a case of BuddyPress mimicking existing WordPress behavior. You can turn this off as a site administrator if you so choose.

Just adding a note that this is definitely plugin territory, and as luck woudl have, a plugin exist. You can force people to sign up as a user first (and only as a user) and then allow them to create blogs.

@Ray, , @JJJ,
I am not talking about "enabling" or "disabling" Blogs.
I am just talking about putting the fields for "Create a Blog" into a different location than having this at the "Sign-Up-page".
Having too many fields within the "Sign-Up-page" is also confusing for the user.
Why not put these fields into a separate page ?
The signup page in BP 1.1+ is now themeable, so we can add/disable such options in the theme (although, you have to know code to disable it).
Perhaps an admin option in the BP admin menu can be added for WYSIWYG users?
