buddypress.org/forums: recover password : reset yes, new password fails

This problem concerns the live forums:
http://buddypress.org/forums/bb-login.php

The reset password works (email received), but the new password is never received (not in inbox or spam.

Steps to reproduce:

1. Go to http://buddypress.org/forums/bb-login.php
2. Enter your username, but no password, and submit
3. when the page relaods, click on the "Recover password" button
4. Check your email associated with your account
5. Open the "reset password" automated email and click on the provided link. This opens a new page which confirms that a new password has been sent.
6. The new password never comes.
