Fatal error when downloading BuddyPress

Description

My site instantly went down when I tried to download the BuddyPress plugin...and it gave me the following Fatal error message:

Fatal error: Call to undefined function get_blog_option() in /home/theamer6/public_html/wp-content/plugins/buddypress/bp-core.php on line 568

I need help quickly. I need my site up urgently. Is this fixable? If so, can you help me fix it?

I appreciate anything you can do.

BuddyPress requires WPMU, you are using Regular WP. To fix your site, rename your /plugins/ folder to anything else, and visit yoursite.com/wp-admin/plugins.php (or whichever the URL is).
This issue would have better gone on the forums, btw.
