Activity class - filters for sql

It would be great if you could add filters on sql in these functions:

get_sitewide_activity()
get_activity_for_friends()
get_activity_for_user()

There is extensive filtering via the template tags. What are you specifically trying to do?

Andy has said 'no' to filters on the SQL. There's another similar ticket somewhere where this was discussed. We're going to look at the API and see what improvements we can make to allow the same sort of changes.
