Limit text length on "user status"

Description
User can write unlimited text for her own status. Only 160 signs, like an sms, would be better.

The status can be filtered and turned into an excerpt or manipulated in any way. I vote for leaving it as is rather than limiting the core and forcing everyone to remove a filter to remove the limit.
