Blog activity links to different urls if blog uses feedwordpress

Blog activity feed links to different urls if blog is using feedwordpress to aggregate external contents, and is set to link directly to external content(s).

If external blog is: example.com/external1
and on user blog links correctly to: example.com/external1
but on activity feed links to: example.com/external2

This wasn't happening on 1.0.3

Changing this to minor. The problem was probably during upgrade from 1.0.3 to 1.1. New aggregated content links properly. Will see what happens.

If new links are working properly is this/was this not therefore with a 3rd party plugin?

What I am sure at this point is 1.0.3 to 1.1 upgrade somehow changed the hyperlinks on activity feed. I'm testing this to see if new links get broken again or not.

I am closing this for now. There is a post on the forum with someone else having trouble with the feedwordpress plugin. There may be a conflict with BuddyPress.

Check you are using the latest version of feedwordpress and that you have followed all of the install instructions - ​http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/feedwordpress/installation/. It also might be a good idea to raise this on the forum if you think this issue still exists because it appears some other BuddyPress users are using this plugin.
