Not loggend in users get the "change status" box shown

Description
If you not logged in and go to a profile and clicks on the status of the users, the box to change is shown, but after click on "Update" the entered status is *not* saved.

Added possible work-around, although it might not be a good idea to rely on the theme to fix this.
