I'd like for pages posted to the blogs to show up in the sitewide activity widget.

Perferably this would be configurable in the widget: (any combination of) posts, pages, comments, wire messages, etc.

I use pages as articles with information about the subject of the site so it'd be great for them to show up in this feed as well.

Even if it's wontfix, we still need to have a filter in place to allow plugins to modify the post_type check at the beginning of bp_blogs_record_post().
