The search on this site only goes to the same page http://buddypress.org/?s.
I'm using safari.

since the forums are all public, google search does a nice job searching through the site, don't you think?

Or am I missing something?

Anyway, I continue to find the forums useful despite the search outage.

Forum/topic search is done, though not exactly intuitive.

bbPress will handle this in core in the future, and we'll get it for free.
