System Message not looking nice in frontend

The System-Message is very hard to "layout". It doesn't take the linebreaks I put in in the message and strips some of my HTML with which I try to accomplish a nice-looking frontend-message (like <br> etc)
Would it be possible, that the message in front-end looks just like the message in backend?

What exactly do you mean by "System Message?"
