please add one more Tab named "My Forum Topics" to the homepage.

Also change wording:
currently being "My Topics" towards "My Forum Topics".

you might also consider this:
add 2 more Tabs to the homepage for "All Forum Topics" and "My Forum Topics".

into the tab named "My Forum Topics" (or better name it "My Forums"), you might want to put the Forum-activity-stream into, like e.g.:

"Username XYZ posted on the forum topic Forums Completely Re-Written in the group BuddyPress Testers - 1 day, 4 hours ago"

The tabs on the home page are filtering activity, so any extra tabs should only be filtering the activity stream. I think this would be quite confusing for people.
